The Society of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ) was founded in 1822 by Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff S.J., a Jesuit priest and a Charismatic leader, who allowed himself to be inspired and be guided by the Holy Spirit to work for the liberation of suppressed Catholics of his time in the Netherlands. He gave to the members of his Society (JMJ) a dynamic Charism of ‘Ever Adaptable Apostolic Availability’. The Society of J.M.J. has its establishments in Netherlands, Indonesia, India, Rome, Nepal, West Africa and USA.
